A book that would sound best when read aloud while looking at the lush (yet also sparse) illustrations。 But Peter needs to not eat so many eggs。

Prabhani ThembiliyaGodage

Dr Seuss is genius to come up with all those bird names, rhyming words with beautiful imaginations。

This poetry book is great to read to young children。 With the made up words and the rhyming sentences, it keeps children entertained as well as exposed to reading and increasing their vocabulary。 The illustrations as well engage young readers as they have a visual to the happenings of the story。

American plunders natural resources from around the world, causing vast environmental destruction in his wake, all for one breakfast。(It’s also too long)

Read with the itty-bitty one。 Always fun :D

lower-end Seuss fair。 Nothing overtly racist as far as we could read, a little odd this kid just snatches all these wild bird eggs。 It was ok, not worth preserving in posterity。

I should've guessed that this is where my Mother found one of her favorite cooking directions: she always said to add "parley。 Quite sparsely。" I should've guessed that this is where my Mother found one of her favorite cooking directions: she always said to add "parley。 Quite sparsely。" 。。。more

I'm curious, do different types of bird eggs taste all that different? I imagine there would be some variation in flavor because of what the birds eat。 Anyway, I don't think I want to try the Scrambled Eggs Super-de-dooper-de-booper a la Peter K。 Hooper or whatever it was because he added some weird stuff to the eggs that just don't go together。 I kept thinking that the combination sounded rather gross。。。 LOL。 I think kids will enjoy the story though。 I'm curious, do different types of bird eggs taste all that different? تخیل ظریفی داره‌。کاش وقتی بچه بودم و عین مرغابی همیشه توی حمام بودم جای خوندن حسن کچل که نفرت عجیبی از حمام داشت برام همچین چیزهایی می‌خوندند。

Great rhyming, loved it!

This was okay I guess, but it doesn’t really stand out for me over the other Dr。 Seuss books that I’ve read。 But then maybe I’m biased against scrambled eggs because I’m vegan and would prefer to eat scrambled tofu。 It’s good for kids though。

Silly book about a child who is gathering all sorts of eggs for his super scrambled eggs。 But is he being so greedy gathering them all?Great illustrations as always

Chloe Richardson

Always love a Dr Seuss book

What a funny name for a book!I suppose that I shall take a look。The boy is telling about eggs that were foundOn mountaintops, on cliffs, and on the ground。But did it really happen that way?Or is the boy just telling tall tales today。Andd Becker

This book is a fiction book。 Its an interesting book that describes all the different types of eggs that come from different animals。 Of course the animals are fake but it still gives kids the idea that all eggs are not the same size and shape if they come from different animals。 When I first read this book, I read it to a 6 year old。 The book is lengthy。 Its not a book for a young audience。 This book is meant for maybe a 1st grader or second grader。 The book have some words that would be hard t This book is a fiction book。 Its an interesting book that describes all the different types of eggs that come from different animals。 Of course the animals are fake but it still gives kids the idea that all eggs are not the same size and shape if they come from different animals。 When I first read this book, I read it to a 6 year old。 The book is lengthy。 Its not a book for a young audience。 This book is meant for maybe a 1st grader or second grader。 The book have some words that would be hard to pronounce if a kid was to read it by him or herself。 Depending on how you read the book you do hear a rhyme scheme that start to go on。 Overall the book was interesting but for kids just a little lengthy。 4/30/2020 。。。more

Like most of Dr。 Seuss' books, this one was long and I found myself wanting to skip some pages。 Also, my 3 year old daughter enjoyed it but had a lot of questions about what some of the words meant。 All in all, it was a pretty okay book。 Like most of Dr。 Seuss' books, this one was long and I found myself wanting to skip some pages。 Also, my 3 year old daughter enjoyed it but had a lot of questions about what some of the words meant。 All in all, it was a pretty okay book。 。。。more

Another great Dr。 Seuss book! I had to laugh a bit at all the reviews expressing shock and dismay at the main character stealing eggs。 If you feel concerned your children will begin to steal eggs from birds you could just preface it with a lesson on stealing or respecting nature。 As if Dr。 Seuss would ever have been okay with such things。。。 have you read The Lorax? Or ask afterwards if the children thought it was okay to steal the eggs。 I read this story MANY times as a child and NEVER once have Another great Dr。 Seuss book! Another Seuss book in our adventure to read Dr。 Seuss books that we are unfamiliar with。We enjoyed the storyline and the pictures。 My son liked looking at the pictures without reading the story。I read this book to my kids tonight and I'm glad that I did。 There were far too many difficult words for the Seussian Beasts。 My kids would have struggled with these words and I don't think they would have finished it。 Another Seuss book in our adventure to read Dr。 Seuss books that we are unfamiliar with。We enjoyed the storyline and the pictures。 My son liked looking at the pictures without reading the story。I read this book to my kids tonight and I'm glad that I did。 There were far too many difficult words for the Seussian Beasts。 My kids would have struggled with these words and I don't think they would have finished it。 。。。more

Cute & silly。 Fun to meet a Seuss book I hadn't seen before, but while it has his signature illustration style with crazy creatures & contraptions, it just wasn't my cup of tea。。。 or skillet of eggs?!? This Dr。 Seuss rhyming story is longer, but very entertaining, as is the usual for Dr。 Seuss stories。 A boy searched all over for different eggs to scramble in a special recipe。

I am not quite sure of the purpose of this book。 I think it is to show children there are many different types of birds and eggs???
